What it is
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a regenerative treatment that uses a concentrated component of your own blood to support healthier hair growth and improve hair density. A small sample of blood is taken and carefully processed to separate the platelet-rich plasma. This plasma contains platelets and naturally occurring growth factors, which are then introduced into targeted areas of the scalp.

What to expect

- Depending on your individual needs, a course of treatments may be recommended, followed by maintenance sessions where appropriate
Downtime
Most people return to normal activity straight away. Mild redness, tenderness or swelling at the injection sites is common and usually settles within a day or two.
How long results last
Improvements in hair density develop gradually over the course of treatment. Maintenance sessions may be recommended to sustain results, depending on your individual response.
