Lena Thompson, Advanced Practitioner
Over 30 years in cosmetology, and treating clients at Lena Mac in Sutton Coldfield since 2012.
Lena has spent more than three decades working in cosmetology and skin health, moving into advanced non-surgical aesthetics and founding Lena Mac in 2012. She is experienced in advanced dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, non-surgical facelifts and all areas of skin rejuvenation.
Alongside her clinical work, Lena holds a Certificate in Education and an Internal Verifier qualification, and has taught and assessed within the sector. That teaching background shapes how she practises: everything is explained clearly, in plain language, before you decide anything.
She sees every client herself, from the first consultation to the review afterwards. There are no sales targets at Lena Mac and no pressure to book.

Training and insurance
Lena Thompson is a fully qualified and fully insured Advanced Practitioner. Only genuine, licensed products from reputable UK suppliers are used.
Lena keeps her training current through accredited continuing professional development, and maintains full medical malpractice and public liability insurance for every treatment offered.
All treatments are provided to clients aged 18 and over only, in line with UK law.
Her approach
- Honest advice. You will be told what a treatment can realistically achieve, and what it cannot. Balanced information, not sales talk.
- Natural results. Lena treats conservatively and often stages work across appointments so the change is gradual and suits your features.
- She will say no. If a treatment is not appropriate for you - because of your medical history, your skin, your expectations or simply because you do not need it - she will decline and explain why.
- Time to decide. There is no pressure to book on the day of your consultation, and no offers designed to rush you.
A face-to-face consultation and medical history check is carried out before every treatment. Suitability, risks and possible side effects are discussed with you at that appointment.
