What it is
Dermal fillers are gels based on hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. Placed carefully beneath the surface, they restore lost volume, support facial structure and refine contours. Lena treats lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds, marionette lines and the tear trough.

What to expect
- A full consultation, facial assessment and medical history check

- Topical numbing where appropriate, then careful placement by needle or cannula
- Appointments typically take 30-60 minutes including consultation
Downtime
Swelling, tenderness and bruising are common for a few days, and lips in particular can swell noticeably for 24-72 hours. Many clients prefer to allow two weeks before an important event.
How long results last
Depending on the area treated and the product used, results commonly last 6-18 months. Lifestyle and metabolism affect longevity.
Aftercare
- Avoid makeup on the area for 12 hours and keep the area clean
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, sunbeds and alcohol for 24-48 hours
- Use cool compresses for comfort; do not massage unless advised
- Contact Lena immediately if you have severe pain, blanching or increasing discolouration
